Fire Alarm System & Fire Sprinkler Submittals

As of July 1st, 2007 all Fire Alarm System submittals will be required to be signed by a Nicet Level 3 or higher. Please call Carol Mulson with any questions at 970-748-4741.

Fire Alarm System and Fire Sprinkler Submittals for permit will fall under one of two categories: new installations or remodels. If you are unsure how to categorize your project, please call us to discuss the project.

• New installations or remodels of significant impact will require a full submittal for review.
• Remodels of limited scope, remodels of relatively minor impact and tenant finishes may be submitted in the form of a “Scope of Work” application.

To ensure your submittal is complete and can be processed in the shortest time possible, please review the following detailed guidelines as they apply to your project and the inspection checklist:

All submittals must be delivered to Gail McFarland at the Eagle River Fire Prevention Bureau offices located at 90 Benchmark Rd, Suite 101, Avon, CO. Submittals may also be mailed to PO Box 7980, Avon, CO 81620. Sending submittal to anyone other than Gail will delay the review process.
