Welcome to the Eagle River Fire Protection District website. Whether you’re an Eagle River Fire District resident, property owner, visiting for the ski or summer seasons, or traveling on Interstate 70 while touring the west, rest assured that you’re protected by one of the best trained, well-equipped professional fire safety agencies in Colorado.

The Eagle River Fire Protection District (ERFPD) serves a 240 square mile area of Eagle County, Colorado including the communities of Avon, Arrowhead, Bachelor Gulch, Beaver Creek, Cordillera, Eagle-Vail, Edwards, Minturn, Red Cliff, and Wolcott. Eagle River Fire District is a professional fire service agency with six stations staffed 24-hours per day, equipped to protect residences, businesses, rural areas, high-rise resort hotels, and forested areas throughout the District.

Established in 2000, Eagle River is a full service fire protection agency that responds to all risks, including acute medical emergencies, hazardous materials releases, technical rescue and extrication incidents, as well as suppression of structural and wild fire.
